STEM Round 4

In this round, I only got to learn about force. As I went on the Robotic trip, I missed this class for one week and I didn’t get to learn about Movement. Force is also related to movement, force is the energy or strength the cause of action. Movement caused by force. Let’s get to know more about gravity.

What is the traditional definition of gravity?

  • In physics, gravity is the natural force that causes things to fall toward the earth.
  • The force of attraction between all masses in the universe; especially the attraction of the earth’s mass for bodies near its surface
  • Example of gravity. If you sitting on chair and looking at the sun set, you will still sitting on your chair because the gravity of the earth are pulling you down here. You won’t flooding round. The sun won’t pulling you up.
  • It’s also related to distance. Example, if you are in the middle between earth and Mars. You will flooding to the planet that has stronger force that it’s gravity can pull you closer to it. Because you stay really close to earth that why the gravity of earth pull you down and you don’t flood round.

How is weight related to gravity?

Weight = gravity

Mass = matter

  • Comparing weight the related to gravity is really confusing. Every planets are having different gravity. Example: You are 50 kg on earth but if you travel to Mars. Your weight will change. That because of gravity could change weight.

I really love STEM. After I learned in STEM class, I get to discover new thing with my every days life. Sometimes STEM is really hard. I had miss this class because I need to on trip. This round it’s kind of hard to catch up because the lesson are related to each other. We mostly learn every lesson from Ck12, so it’s make me easier for catch up the lesson that I had  missed.
